PENGARUH LITERASI KEUANGAN, LIFESTYLE, DAN TEMAN SEBAYA TERHADAP PENGELOLAAN DANA KIP MAHASISWA JURUSAN AKUNTANSI POLITEKNIK NEGERI KUPANG

Abstract

Several factors influence students' financial management behavior, including financial literacy, lifestyle, and peer influence. This study aims to analyze the impact of financial literacy, lifestyle, and peer influence on the financial management of students in the Accounting Department at Politeknik Negeri Kupang. The study population consists of 1,054 active students from the Accounting Department, with a sample of 91 respondents selected through purposive sampling using the Slovin formula. Data was collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire, and the data was analyzed using Multiple Linear Regression Analysis. The results indicate that financial literacy and peer influence have a significant impact on financial management, while lifestyle does not have a significant effect.
